Karmen Marguč Ph.D. works in the interdisciplinary field of economics, ethics, sustainability, and tele-medicine. Within the framework of her experiences in marketing, strategic consulting and business management, she incorporates academic knowledge into practice with the transfer of knowledge and technology between faculties and business.

She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, where she obtained the title of university professor of philosophy and geography. Karmen Marguč Ph.D. accomplished a master's degree in Philosophy - Ethics at the Central European University in Budapest. She continued her academic career at the Faculty of Commercial and Business Sciences, Celje, where she completed her Ph.D. with the title The social discount rate determination considering sustainability. She is finishing her second Ph.D. at the Faculty of Arts, the University of Maribor, finding the ethical basis for international telemedical practice. Karmen Marguč Ph.D. participates in the Academy project, which offers online lectures and workshops for various companies. The online training includes various topics, namely website development and optimization, social network advertising, neuro-marketing, ethics in marketing and data processing.

As a successful lecturer, Karmen Marguč Ph.D. combines theory with practice. In different manufacturing companies, she increased sales and resolve major conflicts, especially in South America and Europe. To achieve the pre-set goals, she uses methods of emotional intelligence, people management and understanding of different cultures. Karmen Marguč Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of Juliet Rose, complex virtual care. The telemedical company offers solutions for a healthy lifestyle at work. Karmen Marguč Ph.D. is happy to advise various Slovenian and foreign companies in the field of personnel training to improve the effectiveness of communication between departments, create a climate of success and appropriate work organization to penetrate the international market through various marketing channels.
