The Institute for Human Rights Law is an institute for research, education and counseling in the field of legal science, particularly in the area of practical considerations of human rights in Slovenia and Europe. Some of the most visible tasks of the institute are the preparation of comparative legal analyses of constitutional directives and legislation in European countries, legal review and analysis of current legislation in the Republic of Slovenia in the area of legal treatment of the communities of faith, analysis of the European Union law, and the preparation of law proposals (bills) for the needs of the government of the Republic of Slovenia. The work of the Institute for Human Rights Law is carried out by groups of researchers directed by group leaders, who must be Ph.D. scientists in possession of an academic title and have submitted approprate research references. The Institute for Human Rights Law is headquartered in Ljubljana. |
