Notes: The recorded invited lecture of the Slovenian jurist and politician Miha Krek (1897–1969), minister of the interwar Yugoslav government in London and president of the Slovenian People's Party in exile, reveals the history of the critical attitude of the Slovenian pre-war Catholic-conservative political elite towards Yugoslavia and the role of the Serbian nation in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia . Along with this, it testifies to the cooperation of Slovenian and Serbian political emigrants in the United States of America based on discussing the future of the South Slavic country and their anti-communist stance, which in the Cold War conditions at the time was supported by loyalty to the new American homeland.
