Sonja Trampuš PhD has been teaching professional English for twenty-five years. Throughout her career, she has been teaching in companies and business schools mostly at the university level in Slovenia, Germany and Austria. In Germany, she learnt and mastered the techniques of teaching Business and Technical English in various companies. Her doctoral research was carried out among the students of the elite Austrian bilingual students at the Business Academy in Salzburg, Austria. This research was the basis of her doctoral dissertation at the University of Dortmund, Germany, where she obtained her PhD in Teaching Professional English in 2009 with Magna Cum Laude.

She has been focusing on teaching spoken English in professional context in companies, at various schools and her own school. She has taught professionals in finance, various entrepreneurs, lawyers, therapists, IT specialists, engineers, doctors, chemists, real estate professionals and many more. She is researching and successfully using the methods of learning to speak English using powerful alpha and theta brain waves.
She is an official Speaking Examiner for the international Cambridge English exams. She prepares groups and individuals mainly for CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) and BEC (Business English Certificates).

At the Faculty of Law and Business Studies, the Catholic Institute, she teaches the courses Business English (the Undergraduate Degree Programme) as well as Business English 1/II and Business English 2/II (the Master's Degree Programme).
