Karmen Marguč Ph.D. is a Doctor of Science and works in the interdisciplinary field of economics, ethics, sustainability, and health. Within the framework of her experiences in marketing, strategic consulting and business management, she incorporates academic knowledge into practice with the transfer of knowledge and technology between faculties and business.
She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor, where she obtained the title university professor of philosophy and geography. At the Central European University in Budapest, she attained a master's degree in philosophy. She completed her doctorate in science at the Faculty of Commercial and Business Sciences in Celje, in the field of the social discount rate determination considering sustainability. Currently she is finishing a PhD of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Maribor in the field of ethics integration into tele-medicine that is based on artificial intelligence.
Karmen Marguč Ph.D. is a founder and CEO at Juliet Rose, complex virtual care. Her work experience includes purchasing, optimizing, and selling different types of companies, business consultancy to different Slovenian and foreign companies in the field of business development from local to global level.
