    Welcome Day
    FLBS organizes a Welcome Day for the Incoming Students, each semester, and takes place some days before the official beginning of the semester classes. Attendance is obligatory for all exchange students studying at the FLBS.

    During the Welcome Day the FLBS International Relations Office provides Incoming Students with information of interest regarding the faculty services, registering and enrolling procedures, and gives a short introduction to our Intranet (VIS) system. FLBS also provides Incoming Students with detailed program information and academic advice.

    Accommodation
    Exchange students can apply for a room in dormitory. The rooms are double, with shared bathroom and shared kitchen. The access to internet is available in all the dormitories. Students who would prefer staying in private accommodation can rent a room in apartment shared with other students with a help of Student organization.

    Money Matters

    Estimated Living Expenses (for reference only): 

    • Accommodation: Between 100€ and 120€ per month in a Students Residence
    • Between 100€ and 150€ per month, one room in a shared flat, bills not included.
    • Books/Meals/Transport: About 250€ per month.

    Insurance information
    If you are an EU student you will need the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive medical attention at Public Hospitals and Health Centres. We recommend that you take out travel insurance (Optional).

    ECTS & grading system

    The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a standard for comparing the study performance of higher education students across the European Union. ECTS credits present the value allocated to a certain course and describe the quantity of work each course requires from a student.
